• Where Can I Use the Music?

    With a Royalty Free Non- Exclusive Sync License (which grants the licensee the non-transferable usage of the purchased musical assets, for the life of your visual media for which it was purposed)(non-exclusive in perpetuity ) you can use the music for any visual media that you desire for as long as you like, there is no expiration date. (Ex) Such as film, television, web series, commercials, games, multi-media; etc.

  • What Type of license do I receive?

    Royalty Free Non- Exclusive Sync License (see the above paragraph for the definition).

  • Can I Record over or Sample Cinebeat Music’s Track and Release it on my Album?

    No!!! This type of license is called a mechanical license, which allows the purchaser of such a license to record, sell and distribute a pre-existing non-original work, which they don’t hold the original copyright to.

     Cinebeat Music with do not offer this license type under any circumstance. Anyone who does so otherwise would be in direct violation of the United States Government Copyright Laws and would be subject to Arbitration and would be held liable financially reimburse Cinebeat Music for any all illegal exploitation of their intellectual property.

     

  • Can I sell or transfer my Non-exclusive license to someone else?

    No!!! The Royalty Free Non-Exclusive Sync License: is Non- Transferable only in the case of “Succession” of Business in which the new owner assumes possession of all previously owned assets.

  • Can I say that I created a track that came from Cinebeat Music or Re-sell it on a third party website.

    No!!! Making a false claim to Authorship and or re-sale of our music is the in direct violation of the United States Copyright Law and is illegal. Any and all persons found in violation of to these laws shall be subject to Arbitration and would be held liable financially reimburse Cinbeat Music for any all illegal exploitation of their intellectual property.

  • Do I have to pay more depending on the Nature of my Visual Media Project or if my product does well on the market?

    No!!! A Royalty Free License is a onetime fee that allows you to use the music (non- exclusive) in perpetuity without paying residual fee (a.k.a. royalties).

  • Can tracks be edited to suite my visual media; or can I have music and sfx composed/designed special for my visual media project.

    Yes!!!  If you need music edited and adapted or need music composed for your media project call     us we are more than able to meet: tight budgets, timelines and scope of production.

  • Will the Cinebeat Audio Watermark be left on my Final Product?

    No! Once you purchase the product, Cinebeat Music’s e-commerce platform will send you the audio without the watermark.

  • Can I receive a Wav? Version of the music instead of an MP3?

    Sure! Email us with your subject line in the email stating your needs (CM) will send you the wav. File within 1-2 business days.

  • Does Cinebeat Music (CM) offer a creative commons license?

    No! We have made our prices as low as possible, so that all may enjoy. Therefore we also choose not to make our music available for free.

  • Do I have to give attribution (credit in my visual media to the original author)?

    No! With a Royalty Free License, though you can’t claim authorship, Attribution is not required though it is appreciated.

  • Can I give suggestions and feedback on tracks; or what type of tracks I would like “cinebeat music” to offer on their site?

    Sure! We’d love to hear feedback it helps us know how we are doing. If you’d like a certain type of track send us a link and we’ll give it a listen.
